Making the Most of Your Operational Knowledge
Fixed-Mobile Convergence products and services are all about providing a simple customer experience across a wide range of technologies, leaving the underlying network complexity transparent to customers. But creating technology-agnostic service bundles does not entail hiding operational implications entirely. Cruiser Moves into Next Phase with Enhanced Automation
TTI Telecom released version 10.2 of Netrac FaM Cruiser, which completes the second phase of the new Fault Management client launch. Based on its initial release, which focused on establishing an effective user interface and core Fault Management capabilities, the new version introduces an extended set of functionalities required to shorten the fault resolution cycle.
Cruiser 10.2 simplifies the creation of corrective action rules and leverages the FaultPro engine to accelerate execution. If manual supervision is required, the operator can initiate semi-automatic command scripts (provided for him by the client) based on an alarm characteristic and its meaning.
These automation extensions, along with additional enhancement modules, look and operate as an integral part of the Cruiser´s .NET3 client. By and large, this new client architecture provides more consistent functionality across operations centers without compromising Netrac´s core feature-set developed for multi-domain service providers´ environments.
