Thresholds Definition & Events Monitoring course provides traffic analysis SMEs with the tools for defining threshold crossing alarms, which result in traffic exceptions that are monitored and analyzed in near real-time by TrafficGuard end-users.

Objectives & Outline
Course graduates will be able to define simple and complex thresholds over PMs, KPIs and xDRs, which generate Threshold Crossing Alarms (TCA) used for detecting irregular network and service behavior in near real-time .
Course Outline:
- Describe Netrac Performance Management solution components and architecture.
- Review PMs Life cycle and internal data flow.
- Introduce TrafficGuard and its “Smart Thresholds” mechanism & engine.
- Review real-time performance monitoring and analysis tools.
- Define simple and complex thresholds over PMs and KPIs.
- Implement internal APIs and Link to PMM Reporter and WebFaM.
- Configure TrafficGuard.
