Service Impact Rules Implementation will mainly train advanced users on how to define ServiceImpact rules to correlate network resource alarms and affected service and customers, allowing the NOC/SOC operators to effectively monitor and analyze the affected services and customers.

Course graduates will be able to implement ServiceImpact engine rules, assisting SOC operators to identify, prioritize, and resolve network problems based on Service Level Agreement (SLA) categories, impacted services and impacted customers.

- Introduce ServiceImpact architecture and data flow.
- Describe the service data model and its components.
- Review the impact and availability calculation flow.
- Review affected services and affected customers monitoring and analysis tools.
- Manually implement the service topology.
- Describe the impact calculation process.
- Define and implement ServiceImpact rules.
- Test and manage ServiceImpact rules.
- Define rules for exporting availability KQIs.
