Network Faults Monitoring will provide its participants with the tools for efficiently investigating, monitoring and handling incoming alarms, generated by the Netrac Mediation layer, based on network events. This course will assist them in effectively reaching the alarm resolution, and reducing the alarming equipment downtime.

Course graduates will be able to efficiently monitor and resolve network failures by focusing on the root-causes, using a variety of analysis and alarms management tools.
Course Outline:
- Describe Netrac FaM Cruiser concepts and working environment.
- Describe the alarms generation process and internal data flow.
- Review Netrac alarms main characteristics and attributes.
- Review Netrac alarms investigation and analysis tools.
- Manage Netrac alarms – notes, correlation, TT creation, ownership, etc…
- Create new alarm folders with specific alarm criteria
- Personalize alarm folders layout and alarm table display
- Define alarm filtering rules to focus on specific alarms
- Analyze Netrac alarms history.
