SNMP Fault Library Generation course will provide its participants with an overview of Netrac Fault Library concept and components, and its core will focus on the EasySNMP Wizard for FaM, which enables a quick and easy generation of SNMP-based Netrac fault premium libraries.

 

  • Objectives & Outline

    Course graduates will be able to easily generate fault management libraries, for SNMP-based equipment, using a simple wizard tool, by selecting the relevant MIB attributes used for collection, transformation and alarm mapping rules.

    Course Outline:

    • Review Netrac Fault Library concept and design.
    • Describe Netrac FaM processes and data flow.
    • Describe EasySNMP for FaM library output.
    • Introduce Netrac Studio library development tool.
    • Introduce the EasySNMP for FaM wizard.
    • Compile SNMP MIB files.
    • Generate a SNMP-based fault library using EasySNMP for FaM.
    • Edit EasySNMP for FaM libraries.
