Netrac Mediation

Netrac Mediation

Netrac Mediation is a scalable, distributed, and highly flexible solution that enables CSPs to deploy and manage third-generation (3G) wireless, IP, and broadband data networks in combination with legacy voice networks.

  • Overview

Communication Service Providers (CSP) are challenged with managing rapidly growing multi-vendor and multi-technology convergent networks that comply with diverse standards and infrastructures to deliver complex multi-layered services. To reliably and quickly deliver high quality services, CSPs need to rapidly adapt to growing and changing network requirements for managing Next Generation Networks (NGN) in combination with legacy wireless and wireline voice networks.

TTI Telecom's powerful service and network assurance Netrac Mediation is a scalable, distributed, and highly flexible solution that enables CSPs to quickly adapt to frequently changing network requirements as they deploy and manage third-generation (3G) wireless, IP, and broadband data networks in combination with legacy voice networks.

TTI Telecom’s Netrac Mediation solution has a distributed and scalable multi-threaded architecture that supports multi-vendor and multi-technology networks with multiple protocols and interfaces efficiently. It is a robust bidirectional engine that collects data from the network and sends commands to the network. The solution can collect data from multiple sources such as Operational Measurements (OM), Key Performance Indicators, and xDRs. This data can be easily parsed, transformed, formatted, and validated to store in a database or send to external applications such as Fault and Performance management systems.

Netrac Mediation provides a powerful and comprehensive solution to address the evolving needs of diverse networks. CSPs benefit from the rich capabilities of Netrac Mediation to automatically discover their networks as well as its inherent security capability for administering and controlling access to any network.

  • Benefits

    • Protect and increase revenue
by reducing Time-To-Market (TTM) of new services as a result of shortening the cycle time to integrate new technologies.
    • Increase efficiency and cut system downtime.

    • Distributed architecture helps reduce single points of failure.

    • Lower operating costs of managing a multi-vendor and multi-technology network
by enabling efficient absorption of network growth and changes with the existing work force.
    • Reduce cost of ownership
Using a single centralized mediation tool enables network operators to have full control to quickly change and customize business rules to adapt to network and service changes.
    • Reduce ongoing IT support and maintenance costs
by centralizing the administration of the mediation function across different applications, technologies, and protocols.
    • Minimize or avoid capital spending
by leveraging mediation’s distributed architecture to enable easy expansion of the network
by adding more optimally utilized CPUs or servers as needed.
